Dragonfly Park maintenance

by FCCA | 1 Comments

The Dragonfly Park rink is maintained by volunteers daily starting between 8 – 8:30 pm (weather permitting).

The maintenance takes approximately 90 minutes.

Please help the volunteers keep the surface smooth by:

  • Removing the nets from the ice if there is no one is using them
  • Throwing the snow over the boards when clearing the ice surface, and NOT piling it against the boards
  • Not using the ice if freezing rain is in the forecast or occurring

To volunteer, contact greenspace or simply stop by the rink in the evening. Additional volunteers are always welcome, especially after freezing rain or heavy snowfall.
